Default wheel bearings?

i am no mechanic. i know a little bit about cars, but thats it. so when i drive my blazer i hear a quiet humming sound coming from the front passenger side wheel. the noise starts when i hit around 40-50 MPH. it sometimes goes away or changes pitch when i go on curves while driving. i have been told from people that this is a bad wheel bearing.
i brought the blazer to my regular mechanic (who is a good mechanic from reliable sources). he himself, and his other mechanic took it for a test drive and say they do not hear the humming noise. they put the blazer up on the lift, one of them stayed inside it, they put 4HI on so all wheels would spin, and he pressed the gas pedal until the speedometer said it was moving around 40 MPH, and the other mechanic that was on the ground listened to every 4 wheels by using a large screwdriver and holding it to his ear. he swears he does not hear anything. is it possible it could just be noise from the tire? *i did notice this noise shortly after i brought the blazer to a Mavis Tire shop to get an alignment done on it. i was wondering if maybe that can have something to do with it making this noise. thanks in advance for your help

I do not know what your mechanic(s) were attempting to hear by doing what they did... Without the weight of the vehicle being supported by the wheels, you really cannot replicate the conditions to be able to diagnose a vehicle.

When you turn a particular direction, does the noise change? Since you hear the noise in the passenger side, does turning to the left make the noise worse / to the right better?

yeah, when i would make a left turn, the sound would usually go away, or change pitch. but now that i got the car back from the mechanic, i actually can't even hear the noise now. which is very strange
