Default Will not come out of 4wd

this mornin I had accidentally bumped the 4wd button and it went right into 4wd as it normally does then when I tried to get it back into 2wd the button doesn’t even blink.. it just stays in 4wd... so I’m just wondering if this is an electrical problem?

It could be electrical , when you push the buttons do you hear the TCCM behind the passenger kick panel clicking ?. They often get corrosion on the connector pins . unfortunately it may require some time to troubleshoot the system.
In the Tech articles in the mechanical and maintenance section of this forum there are 2 good reads for your system , they are on page 2 , one is called NV233 No mode switch and the other is 4x4 no worky These should come in very handy for troubleshooting your truck.
Good luck.
