Default ZR2 ride height measurement request

Just finishing up installing a ZR2 front frame half on a four door and I'm wondering if a few ZR2 owners would be able to measure from the center of their wheel to the bottom of the fender flare lip on all four wheels and post the results? Please also post if you have done anything to your suspension (cranked, lifted) or if its stock.Trying to get a starting point for how high to adjust the torsion bars. Thanks in advance.

Trying to compare your Blazer to a ZR2, whether stock or lifted, is pretty much useless IMO. Mine is lifted a bit with taller tires so pretty sure it is no help to you. Just adjust the tbars to somewhat match the back but keep a close eye on your cv axels. Perfect would be straight axels, but a bit of an angle should be okay. Too much of an angle and you'll be replacing those axels fairly regularly.

Kernel,

Your post got me curious about proper ride height for your ZR2 as I've had issues with my springs sagging and my attempt at a lift on my 4dr being nullified. (I have replacement springs and torsion bars to install later.)

In case it helps, I have an excerpt from my 1999 Service Manual for measuring and adjusting the ride height you might find useful. It is done by measuring differences in heights of suspension components relative to the frame rather than the ground. I've also included a buyer's guide for the 1999 Blazers. For the latter, look on page 57 it lists the overall height and ground clearance specs for all the blazers. FYI: the CT10506 designation is for 4dr and the CT10516 is for the 2dr.
