87 Blazer shock mounts

Default 87 Blazer shock mounts

so someone installed new Axle's in my 87 blazer. they went to 14 bolt front and rear. and the Shock mounts on the axle don't line up.. If there anywhere i can buy new mounts with out having to make any? Or anything i can hook up the shocks in the front kinda fun driving around without them

Just about any offroad fab shop sells shock mounts. Pretty common item.

Thread jack kinda but got any pics of how they converted a 14 bolt to a steering axle?

they do sell universal ones that clamp to the axle, but if they are on the axle you can just cut them off and move them, thats what i did.

he probably has a dana 60 front, though there is a picture of a 14 bolt front axle out there somewhere, they just cut the tubes and use outter c's off a dana 60 i believe

I was told it was a 14 just counted it's a 10. I'll post pics when I get home

From what I saw of the pictures that were on your website before they became unavailable, those axles are just stock 10-bolts. I hope you didn't pay extra for them.

i tried to convert the pics as a webpage than it deleted them all

No i just bought the blazer paid $1800 for it. had a new set of tires on it and it ran. Few other minor problems but nothing to major..

The front shocks mounts don't line up at all. they both want to mount to the outside of the mount on the axle.
