Body or Suspension?

Which would be better for me in the long run? Doing a 3 inch Body Lift, or doing a 3 inch Suspension lift. I plan on using my baby to go mudding in the future once I get her powered and set up the way I like.
which is better for usage, versus looks. Also, price does factor into this choice.

If you go with the lift kit it'll change highway drive abilty. The geometry of the vehicle will be changed. Wheel alignment wil probably be needed too.
The pucks are under $150.00.

Downside:
Doing either one or both will reduce highway fuel economy.
Upside:
Dinosaurs died so we can haul *** in SUV's and play in the mud.
