Default Lift questions

Hi I have a 1998 chevy blazer 4x4 LS 4 door and I have always been wanting to lift it but i dont want to spend that much money on it what I was looking into was getting a 1 inch or 2inch body lift and a 2 inch suspension maybe more. Is that a good combo? Also would I need to key the torsion bars, get shackles, or adjust my gearing to my dif cause of the lift? Thanks!
