You have to buy an axel and all your hardware seperatly or have a 4x4 shop do it. To my knowledge there isn't a kit.

You could do it yourself given the proper tools, but the difficulty depends on what kind of axle & spring setup you decide to go with. If going with a leaf spring setup, you'll need to fab up the mounts for the spring/shackle. If you want to go with a coil spring setup (like the previous gen Dodge Ram pickups - sorry can't remember others with this setup), you'd have to fab up the rear parallel arm mounts (4 of them) on the frame. If you don't find an axle with the proper hub to hub spacing, you'll need to cut down the axle tubes and have new axles made.

It all depends on how much skill you have and/or how much money you are willing to spend (actually both - lol).

There is a kit, but the company that makes it only sells to dealers. You supply the Dana 30 (or 44) from a Jeep Cherokee and some other minor parts, they supply all the necessary brackets and instructions. The quality of the brackets in this kit has been questioned before though—the basic gist is that its a show-only capable kit, any real off-roading would probably lead to things breaking.

The best bet is to have a reputable off-road shop do the conversion for you. Though its a tad bit pricier, you're better off using coil springs up front than leaf springs. The kit I mentioned does that BTW.
