Default How much did you pay to have a body lift installed?

Just wondering what the average price would be to have a 2 inch body lift installed on my 95. What kind of prices have you guys paid or heard of other guys paying on a blazer or even any other 4x4. I mean, the kits are like $130 but I'm not sure if its gonna cost like 700 more in labout or sometihng like that.

I certainly haven't, but somebody around here has. Just gotta sit and wait for a bite. Then when there's a bite, yank like crazy and start to reelin' real fast or else it'll get loose and you'll have to do it again.[8D][8D]

I called a local 4WD shop last week and they quoted me $350 ($70/hr x 5hrs). Get the number for shops in your area (yellow pages) and call them. You might also want to check to see how much it is if you buy the body lift from them. You might pay 150 for it there (instead of say 130), but install might be considerably less (say 250 instead of 350).

If I were you I'd definately install it myself. Especially with labor costs as high as they are vs cost of parts. Just get a couple friends togethor and have yourselves some fun. But if you still want it done for you, like mdnky said, just call places in your area. But ~$300 sounds about right

Why are we installing a body lift? What are you looking for in a lift? Spindles, springs and A arms aren't much more $$$$ Suspension is thwe way to go.
