so, here is what we ( includes my wife who fishes and hunts- shoots-guts and drags ..I do the game cookin...tough, huh ?) need to have on the blazer we just bought: The best tire for this stuff....with the stock size of 235/70/15.
Pulling a loaded 17 foot sea nymph fishing boat ( 1500 lbs ) without the wobble you can get with lots of rubber in an aggressive A/T tire tread.
I'm thing a very stiff side wall would be right, here.
As low as possible noise at highway speeds with excellent tread wear.
Excellent traction in deep snow when hunting on dirt roads and hilly terrain.
Expect this kind of mileage for three major uses:
Winter highway travel..2,000 miles
Winter off-road terrain... 100 miles
Boat trailering, 3 season temperatures...7,000 miles
Warm weather highway travel....2,500 mile
You can see I'm needing some real critical reasoning here, and any assist is truly appreciated. Thanks
