1996 FACTORY BACKSPACING

just was looking to find out the factory backspacing on the 96 ls 4x4 im looking to buy new wheels and want to keep them the same backspace i heard it was 4.5 is this correct

its 6' for 4x4s, 4' for 2wds.

Every shop I asked at thought that 4" was the only backspacing, I already knew better though.
