Did all 2-door Blazers come with reinforcement for swing-away tire carrier?

Hey everyone, I have a 98 2-door Blazer. The spare just sits in the trunk laying down. I see lots of things about fitting a carrier to 4-doors and all the things you have to do. Do you need to do this for 2-doors as well? How can I tell if it has the reinforcement? Thanks!

No problem, it should be without 6-8 inches from the lower corner of the window that just above the tail light. If you dont see a piece with nuts welded to it, the you wont have it.
I've also wondered this as I've been in the search of a second vehicle, I've kept an eye on 2 door blazers and wondered if it's as easy as punch, drill, install. The other part I'm wondering is the tail gate, if it has that reinforcement as well...
