Goodyear Duratrac review - Lengthy, but worth it.
#21
Just wanted to post up that I have 45,000 miles on these tires and have not had a single issue. I've kept them balanced and rotated, currently sitting at 9/32s - Wow! The Goodyear guy uses my truck as a commercial for potential buyers, since I work right next door to a Goodyear dealer. Amazing tire!
Just curious though, if that bigger size Dbam31 is running might be why his are a little louder than mine. Just curious. ( -8
Anywho, these tires ROCK and will always be put on my rig!
Truck's sitting at 228K Miles now - not what sig states! LoL

That's awesome to hear man! I put a set on my work truck (2007 Chevy 2500HD 265/75/16) and they're currently right at 45,000 as well with probably 42,000 of those miles being all street and highway and they're sitting at 7/32. I can't wait until I get the RT/S's wore out on my Jimmy to get the Duratrac's put on.
I agree completely on your review as well. No where near as noisy as regular mud tires, comfortable ride and offroading, well, I've had these things in almost every possible bad situation a person would want to be in thanks to the pipeline right of way and they've yet to fail me.
Glad to see there's other's who are enjoying them as much and as long as I have!

I love the stories in this thread!
Just to update:
My Dura-Tracs have 51,000 miles on them and that's almost 2X what I got out of the BFG ATs. These tires are the highest "Winter/Snow rated tire Goodyear makes and the highest challenge score is in the "snow" followed closely by with "rain" next.
Still no issues, and I've not been too religious rotating and balancing since leveling off at 5/32" of tread.
Roll on my friends, roll on!

I just ordered a set in 305/70/16 that will be used as my hunting tires while up in CO chasing them elk and deer. It will be an interesting look for the Blazer with the rims I picked up a couple of weeks ago. I haven't seen anyone running these rims yet.

I suppose that wouldn't matter much as they're rated for 1900lbs per tire and i don't forsee my blazer seeing more than 99mph but i just wanted to see if you ran into any problems with them at all.
