Just installed Cragar Soft 8's
Here's info on my truck for those of you wanting to do something similar, and where i screwed up.
My 1999 Blazer ZR2 (everything is stock, including suspension)
15x8 cragar soft 8's
5 on 4.75 lug pattern
31 x 10.50 R15 MT's
After installing the new tires and wheels, I realized that the front required wheel spacers because the rims actually make contact with the brake caliper. (rims rub the caliper) I am not a fan of spacers, so my stock rims are going back on.
Stock ZR2 rims have 6" backspacing, Cragar Soft 8's I got are 4" backspacing.
They also rub the corners while turning sharp.

OH! lol, I was typing so fast I didn't finish. The inside of the rim was actually making physical contact with the brake caliper. So the rim was actually grinding on the caliper itself. (I didn't drive it like that though) I noticed it when I mounted the rim.

You can file the caliper down to clear the rims .. this has been done before
the rubbing on the sway bar and frame cant be solved with out using spacers but the caliper rub can by doing as I said above this post
up to you tho

Not to thread jack but I just order a set of soft 8s 15x8 for my truck just curious how big of spacers would a guy need to clear the calipers? Im not afraid to do some filing if nessesary but dont want to if i can get away with spacers ¬ have a huge differance in width from front to back and yes i know the rear is aready narrower then the front. Sorry again for jacking just thought the answer could help both of us. -Mike
