Default Max tire size for 2004 Zr2?

Hey Everyone,

I am looking for new tires for my 2004 ZR2 and was wondering what's the largest tires that will fit without having to modify the wheel wells.

Thanks,
KarlofZR2

From listening to other members 30" but I'm not sure if the zr2 is any different in terms of being able to run a bigger size tire or not.

31" is what came stock on ZR2's. so with a tbar crank and shackle lift, or BL you can probably fit 32" with very little rubbing if any. ive heard of people fitting 33's with a tbar and shackle lift, but that involves cutting and trimming flares and valences.

to sum up:
31's if you have no lift, 32's will be tight.
32's if you do a tbar and shackle lift. (may have to trim for offroad flexing)
33's if you do a BL and tbar and shackle lift. (may still require some trimming for offroad flexing)

That right there pretty much says it all!
