I live in FL so I'm not worried about the winter (snow). I did the same thing to my buddies ranger a few years ago and the paint is still holding up just fine, no flaking, peeling, or fading. If not it doesn't take much to take them off and recoat them again if needs be, but as many layers I put on these wheels I have no worries at all.
