Need help with rims and tires...
Hello everybody, im going to be buying some new wheels and tires within the next few days and i want to make sure everything will work correctly without any compatabilioty issues.
I own a 1999 Blazer 2DR 4X4. I currently have the 235/75/r15 or w.e my stock tire size is, i want to upgrade to 30x9.5x15 BFG All terrain TA KO's.
The wheels i want to buy are American Racing AR767's with:
5 on 4.75 lug pattern
15x7
backspacing = 4 in.
max load = 1900 lbs
offset = 0mm.
I wanted to make sure that 15x7 wheels will fit 9.5 wide tires, for some reason i thought the rule was 2'' above rim size, is it 2.5''? Also im not sure what the offset does but it is 0mm.
And the final thing is the backspacing. Im pretty sure stock is 6'' wich means 4'' will make them stick out 2'' more than stock? Is that correct? Will i get rubbing issues with 30''s sticking out an extra 2 inches?
ANY help is greatly appreciated as i want to buy these ASAP so please get back to me and let me know if everything will fit nicely, THANKYOU!

stock 15x7's will hold those tire. they are holding 31x10.5s in some cases around here...
6in BS is ideal. every inch you take away from the back spacing is one more inch it will stick out from the fender AND 1 monre inch closer to rubbing... so you are going with a wider tire AND moving the tire closer to where it will rub.....
just keep the stock rims, and mount the 30x9.5's on them. you wil have no issues, or very minimal issues you can correct with a slight adjustment on your torsion bars (assuming 4wd)
also ALL of this information has been gone over 1 gazillion times, so if you have further questions, use the search function. there is a wealth of knowledge around here
also dont just read the first 3 threads search shows you and come back with a "i tried search but it didn't answer my question" thread. It will happen that search wont help you, but you should try to help yourself first.
hope that helpped

Thank you for the quick reply.
Unfortunately i really do not want to keep the stock rims wich is why i need an idea of how close i will be coming to rubbing.
The rims in question dont come with any more than 4'' BS. Pretty much if i can fit 9.5 wide tires with 4'' BS on a stock 4x4 than im buying them and wont go crazy around turns.
