Default Simple Needs, your advice

I have simple needs at the moment. I have a 2wd Blazer, 2004, 4dr. I need new tires. I do primarily highway miles, and want quiet, comfort, with good traction. I currently have Uniroyal Tiger Paws, but they are worn out, and the traction has always been lacking. Any adivce would be appreciated. BTW, I will either be lowering it, or trading for a 4X4 within the year.

I had the Michelin LTX M/S on an explorer and they're awesome tires. They have a real smooth ride on the freeway and have great treadwear. Costco usually runs a deal on these tires or TireRack has them for about $117 a pop.

Thanks for all the help. I am having trouble finding Dakota tires locally. But I did find the Mich's for $ 135 with M&B. Can't beat that, I don't think.

One question, they suggested I consider the 215 75 15's. They would be a touch cheaper, and get better gas mileage. What do you guys think? I plan on getting them Sat.

No, stick with your stock size tire. Your speedometer will be off, so it'll read that you are going 60mph and you are really going 57.5 mph.

The 75 Series was an option, and by my GPS, it's a little off anyway. But thanks. I was leaning that way anyway.
