As a sidenote, it might be better to just take the pan off if its a 2WD, but yeah it will run its way down to the pan, let it dry out for a nice long while, carb clean evaporates after a little bit so take a beer break and come back to it. button it up, oil change, prime+run, then you could leave it like that, me im paranoid about hard parts damage, so i would do another and keep the oil thats drained for the second change on hand for small parts lube.
yea so that's some coolant debris. I'm picking all that out with some tweezers as we speak

That looks good, it wouldn't be good for any shavings to go thru the engine...
