4.3l question.
hey folks i have a 1989 gmc jimmy with a 4.3l v6 non vortec. i took the engine trans and t case out of the jimmy and i rebuilt the motor. i bored it over and got a little more compression cam. now this engine is sittin in the frame of a 98 jeep wrangler tj. anywho. i want to get rid of the remote oil filter and fix it to the block. what do i need to accomplish this? thank you in advance.

There most likely is an adapter at the factory location that is threaded on the pipe nipple at the original location. Should be a matter of unthreading the adapter and the oil filter should thread on where the adapter is located. There might be something else to it but I installed a remote filter on one of my cars and IIRC that was all there was to it.
