Ok so i bought this cherry 88 s10 blazer.. but the passenger window was all the way down and would not budge.. right now i have the window detached from the arm and zip tied up.. any suggestions on what to check next? tried using the switch on both sides nothing happens and no noises..and the arm is stuck all the way down against the bottom of the door

while pushing the switch, check and see if you're getting power to the window motor, try it both ways.

use a test light or a volt meter

Grab two wires long enough to go to your batter and connect them, then try hooking the wires to the motor. I think there will be 3 connections - ground, power up, and power down... If it dont move when you feed it known power, the motor is hooped.
