passenger side window problem

Default passenger side window problem

I have a 1998 gmc jimmy my passenger side window works from its own switch but it will not work from the drivers side switch but all the other windows open from the main switch

Could be dirty but more then likely youhave a bad master window switch, Have you checked the plugs on the bottom of the master switch to see if any wire's may have come loose? How abouta voltage check on it?
Remember every time it's rainning outside and you open up your drivers door, a lil rain get's inside those switches...

i checked the connections and they were all on ok i dont know much about checking for voltage ho wwould i do that

get a volt meter and compare its readings with what the manual says you should get

the master switch for the windows can be found in the help section of any auto store. these are very common to go, so they should have them. 99% of the time it really is just a bad switch. which run about 50 bucks, so i would pick it up as well as a voltometer(probably will come in handy later in life).
