rear window squeak

The rear window latch can be adjusted, but it involves the removal of the interior trim. Then there are 2 nuts that need to be loosened to adjust. I did a little how-to a long time ago, but it never made it into the DIY section.
i know this was brought up a while ago, but i did this ^ (moved the latch toward the ground)and it fixed the annoying a$$ noise coming from the back if it helps anyone

Mine does the same, and its not the latch that does it. Its the hinges, and there are two metal rings that act as spacers i guess. Its a really loose fit and im sure the previous owner never removed it so im guess there was rubber there at one point that probably rotted off. can i get like some yarn and wrap it really tight around there?
