Default 1995 2 door ECM-B fuse.

Hey guys.
So I have been tearing my hair out for the last year over my ECM-B fuse on my CPI engine. After tracing wiring, looking under the dash for any pinches or shreds, tracing more wiring all the way back to the fuel pump with no luck. The fuse blowing is very intermittent, but was very frequent just today. At this point I’m down to putting a pump in. I will be relocating the ground for the fuel pump tomorrow after work to see if that helps, but after that, it’s time for a pump. I guess my question is, can a bad fuel pump cause a fuse to blow? Or should I pay extra attention to this ground?

Why are you concerned about the pump ground?

what happens? The truck runs great, stops running and then you see the blown fuse?

The last time the fuse blew last night, I messed with the ground wire and it fired right up and didn’t blow the fuse, and still did not this morning. That’s my simple, probably not thorough enough, diagnosis

There are two cases, where one excludes the other. Poor connection increases the resistance and lowers the current. It won't make the fuse blow. Fuses blow, when You're over current.
