the other night I put my blazer in 4 wheel drive and everything was fine. Now I can't get it back into 2 wheel drive. It makes a hosling noise until I go over about 30 mph. I tried to put it back in 4 wheel hi and it's doing the same thing. Is there anything I can do to make it go back to 2 wheel until I can get back down to my mechanic

Where is the noise coming from? (front right wheel area, front or rear differential, transfer case etc).
Have you tried to retrieve trouble codes? If so, what are they?
Have you checked all fuses with a test light or volt meter?
Have you checked the 3 vacuum hoses on the transfer case vacuum switch? If they get contaminated with fluid it will cause problems with the axle actuator, (under the battery tray).
