Actuator cable 4*4
Have 96 chevy blazer 4*4 shift on floor for 2*4,4*4 lo hi (NOT ELECTRONIC) Im looking for information or PLEASE possible PICTURE of how the ACTUATOR CABLE ATTATCHES TO THE FRONT AXLE. IT COMES IN SIDEWAYS IN SAME DIRECTION AS AXLE THEN GOES TO ACTUATOR UNDER BATTERY. i SEE THAT THE END THAT GOES IN AXLE HAS A GROOVE AROUND IT AS THE OTHER END THAT HAS THE WEIRD CLIP TO ATTACH TO THE ACTUATOR. SO THE AXLE END HAS A SCREW TO A PLASTIC LIKE HOUSING(LIKE A HOLLOW CONE)WHICH HAS 3 SCREWS TO REMOVE IT.
IM WONDERING WHEN I UNSCREW THE CABLE ON AXLE HOW DOES THE CABLE RELEASE AND THEN HOW DOES IT RECLIP. IN BUFFALO HAVE BEEN DOING THIS STUFF FOR 20+YRS NEVER HAD TO DO THIS NOT TO MENTION HAD 3 HEART ATTACKS AND FIRST KILLED ME AND A MINI STROKE AND SEVERE CARPOTUNNEL SO IM TRIING TO GET R DONE THE EASIEST WAY POSSIBLE. any kNOWLEDGEABLE ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. tHANKS

this was really so simple look at photo look the cable cost 36 dollars with tax and it connects in the same manner as the valve end just remember to take battery tray and battery out thentake valve bracket out(2 bolts in wheel well front. then take cable off in front then loosen the cable not remove it from the housing take housing off then pull or push tab on clip then remove it the clip stays on so when you put the new one in it clicks itself. Install axle end of cable first then valve end
