Default Anyone here have a 95 or 94 CPI Vortec Intake Manifold laying around?

Hi all,
Does anyone here have a 1994 or 1995 CPI Vortec "W" vin Lower Intake Manifold laying around? or currently off there engine? i need to know if there are rear coolant passages on either side near the back of the intake by the distributor hole? or if there is nothing there but solid aluminum?
thanks

just curious, was your truck a 94-95 CPI Vortec "W" Vin too like mine? im asking because i have to replace my lower intake gaskets and i bought two different sets of lower intake gaskets, felpro part#'s MS95832 ( for the "W" vin motor) and MS933461 (for the "Z" vin motor). both gaskets are identical except for the rear coolant passage. the MS933461 has the rear coolant passage completely blocked off while the MS95832 has the rear passage fully open. so i figured if the lower intake manifold does not have a coolant passage in it on either side, why not just use the MS933461 gasket with the blocked off passage for better sealing....i didn't get around to doing the job yet and i have to return one set of gaskets before the 30 day return policy expires so i dont get stuck with two sets of gaskets. thats why i asked....so i can return a set...i also will keep you in mind when i pull my lower intake so that if i need one i will ask you where to get one. please let me know
thanks

Didn't we already go through this...? You still haven't made the decision...??

Go with what is suggested for your truck. The ones that are blocked off could lead to corrosion of the intake manifold at that location if there is any seepage which would just sit there stagnant.

In the end, it's your truck. If you think you'll get some more peace of mind with the gaksets meant for a different engine, then by all means, go for it.

yes we talked about the 2 different gaskets but i did not pull my enigine apart yet to look in it because the weather has been bad everytime i attempt to do it. and now im getting close to the return date so i have to return a set so i dont get stuck with 2 sets. thats why im asking for someone who has an intake off there truck for now.

i'll ask my younger brother. he's currently putting a chromed CPI on his '83 Dime (to replace the factory plain aluminum one). he's coming up to my place this afternoon, so i'll get back to you shortly.

ok thanks so much. can you look at both sides of the intake for any rear coolant ports? just curious, what is an 83 Dime?

answer to your OP is, no there aren't any coolant passages.

as for the "Dime" it's know as the S10 p/u. here's a pic of my brother's that i mentioned (the black one on the right) and a "satretched" '85 that me & my brother were building for a friend.
