Blower motor replacement
Hey all, I am a first time poster and have read a lot of posts regarding the blower motors on '97 Blazers. I am in the process of replacing the blower and wondered what would happen if I didn't close up the air box where I cut it open? This job is a pain in the rear and I would like to finish it as soon as I can. Please advise. Thanks in advance.

arew you asking what would be the consequences for not replacing the rubber membrane that you had to cut?
not to bloddy much.
but you can use some automotive "goop" to hold the pieces back on if you're overly concerned about it being open.
