Blower questions
So the air isn't blowing as hard as it should on my 1996 blazer. It blows on all the levels, but it's just not blowing hard out of the vents at all. I'm also hearing squealing from the blower from time to time. I'm guessing this has to be a bad blower, correct?
Looked over the DIY section and the install seems pretty easy. My question is about the part to buy. Looking on rockauto, they've got all different types of blowers for my years blazer... HVAC blower motor, without rear a/c, with a/c, etc.
So... which one should I get?
And does the resistor need to be replaced to? Everything seems to be in good electrical working order. I'm figuring it's just a bad motor and I'd throw a part at it. Am I going about this wrong since I've never had to do a blower before.

Not sure about the part for the blower or the resister.... personally I'd check vacuum lines. Spray brake cleaner over then as the engine idles & if the idle changes then change that vacuum line.
All of them, from the valve cover, the lines to & from the cab, to the vacuum canister, be it a bulb under the hood or the box in the DS fenderwell. To & from, check them all. The fenderwell is a pita to get, at but very important!

Any clue if the resistor needs to be changed too?
