Default A/C question

How many Kgs of r134a does a Blazer a/c system take on a recharge? I have a 1996 Blazer 4x4, I have it all hooked up to the machine, but I dont have the damn sticker under the hood! I had my parts guy call GM, but they said they were going to call him back, and I want this done sooner then later. (working on my truck while getting paid is sweet, haha!)

I agree. 0.80 kilograms is about right as I recently charged my 1999 Blazer with that amount. Also, drain the compressor oil as that cant isnt vented like R-134a. This will prevent an oil overcharge which could affect the A/C.

I also have a '96. I'll try and check my sticker tomorrow for you, can't recall what the exact amount is off the top of my head.
