A/C removal
#1
During the initial install of my new 4.3 L long block I want to not re-install the A/C compressor and associated components
. What items should I be concerned with in trying this? Different pulley / belt / other setup ?
Example thread. ?

The one i used on a 4.3 astro van,the bolts didnt work that came with it. too small. once you get it,keep in mind you might have to hit up the hardware store for bolts. just take one of your bolts in off the old compressor and get shorter ones.
Also, before you try to cheat the system with getting a non ac belt. Wont work. your missing a pulley in a location to make it work. I done tried LOL
