Cruise control fuse keeps blowing.

Cruise control fuse keeps blowing.
The 10A cruise control fuse keeps blowing in my 98 Jimmy. If I replace it, it'll work fine for a few days and then blow again. Is there anything else that shares the same circuit that might cause this to happen?

ABS does on my 99
output from fuse goes through normally closed brake sw {opens when brakes applied}
Check for rubbed wire around there.

I will check. My ABS light is on and the system is not functioning as well, would that be another possibility?

Depends on the code stored. If it's a system problem, perhaps. Not real likely, though.
Most likely to be a rubbing wire, bad switch or faulty cruise servo.
To find out if it's that circuit, next time it blows fuse, use meter on the test pins top of fuse to find 12v, then on the other side of fuse, use ohms to see if the brake switch affects it
You didnt say if you just find cruise doesnt work, or if all of a sudden cruise stops working while engaged
