Hi everyone,
So the other day I was working outside listening to the radio in my car and noticed that there was a really bad rattling / vibrating coming from the rear of my Blazer. I have a bass box in the back and every time a low note hit, it got noticeably louder. Upon further investigation I discovered its the vents behind the 2 vertical black plastic pieces to the right and left of the rear glass (what are these vents officially called btw?) . Judging by their design I surmised they are designed to keep the water out but allow venting when pushed from the back. Has anyone dealt with this issue before? Any ideas of how I can make them a little quieter? Are they really even necessary in the first place?

Run a search. They have been discussed before in the Audio/Video section, IIRC.
