Engine Swap

Engine Swap
Alright guys, I've been doing some thinking..a V8 would be awesome to have in the Blazer (of course). But through all the posts of em, theyre all about the owner doing the rebuild! Now I consider myself somewhat mechanically inclined, but an engine swap would be a whole new set of skills. Not to mention me not having an engine hoist, lift, etc.
So I know I can get a 350 brand new ($$$), mildly used ($$), or rebuilt ($), but what about are those ball park figures if you guys had to give me a number? And, about what do you think a good shop/person that knows what theyre doing charge for an engine install like this?
I'm just trying to see what I wanna save my money for
Thanks!

RE: Engine Swap
If you were able to find a reputable engine rebuild shop that would take on the job of swapping out motors that you also can buy the motor from them im pretty sure they would give you a deal on the motor and swap!!
