I had a friend purchase it for me because she had prime and now I can't get a hold of her to get her to exchange it. So I'm stuck with it. If I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all lol.

I found some setting in torque that might help. I'll have to see if that helps. If not I'll order another one from Amazon and send this one back as defective.

Make sure all other scanner software is fully shut down. The min max counters are reset at power up in car diag pro.

I got it to work by checking off a box in settings that say's if you have problems communicating with your device.

George you said that I can confirm that the ECT is working with torque lite ? Do I just load an ECT gauge ?

I would replicate the conditions that caused the wonky readings in CDP.

What does CDP stand for ? I'll guess and say ...car driving process?

When I was getting those strange reading I was using my plug in scantool. But I'm gonna monitor it with torque and see what happens.
