Default exhaust leak???

Im not very experianced with the name of exhaust pieces but before the rest of the pipe comes out the back of the truck the big muffler or square piece is leaking water/Condensation out of the rear. of this catalytic converter or muffler does this mean there is an exhaust leak????

Default RE: exhaust leak???

you get water out of the exhaust when you have moisture in the fuel system. try any of the $3-$8 moisture removal fuel additives available at your local auto parts store.

it could also mean you have coolant leaking into the combustion/exhaust aspect of things ...

All exhaust sytems "leak" water. It is condesation that builds up as the exhaust sytem warms up, especially if the air temp is low. ie winter

This does NOT mean you have water in your gas.

If the water is coming out of the very end pipe (the tail pipe), that is OK. But if it is coming out of areas before the tail pipe, then you have a leak.
