Default Fuel Gauge Inaccuracy

When ever I hit the gas, the fuel gauge heads towards the F. Whenever I apply the breaks or slow down at all it heads towards the E. Its fine if its above a half tank however, if its below I really have just a rough estimate of how much gas I actually have left. Any others have this issue or suggestions on what it could be or how to fix it??

There's no problem. Common Chevy quirk. My truck does it, my Corsica did it, my mom's old vans did it. If you've had the truck for a while you'll know when you need to get gas. I've gone 10 miles with the needle on E before and still had a little left before I filled up.

Mine has the same thing dude. I just get about 20 dollars worth when it hits 1/4 tank and it takes me up to 3/4, so it's all good. lol
