Heater core replacment

Default Heater core replacment

I've got antifreeze coming out my heater vents on the floor.Looks like I'm going to have to replace the heater core {1998 blazer 4wd /v6 vortec engine with air cond.Any one have any suggestions for making this not as hard as it sounds to do?

take it somewhere and have them do it. i know on your blazer you have to disconnect the a/c drier i think it is so you have to have the a/c system empty before you can do it and it is alot of trouble to deal with on yours. i wanna say someone told me shop time on it was a little over 9 hours.

im in the middle of doing one on a dakota at the very list get a detailed step by step print out of what to disconnect. i just got the dash out before i left. its really not back breaking labor just annoying little bolts and nuts everywhere. sadly the crap that took the most time was trying to get some of these hard to reach clips disconnected.
