Mind you that is for a fullsize application, but the general location is the same. I seem to remember posting an image showing the location. You may have to cut away a section of the outer rubber/plastic isolator that surrounds the heater box in the engine compartment to get to the resistor pack.

Is it a musty smell? Like dirty sox.

yeah kinda. not like so bad you wanna jump out at highway speeds or anything just a light kinda weird smell.

There should be some type of external drain. Usually on passenger side firewall at the bottom of heater box. It sounds like it is clogged.
