so My catalytic converter is rattling around a lot and starting to annoy the hell out of me. SES light is NOT on.

Has anyone installed a high-flow direct-fit cat who could tell me if it's worth it? i was reading around on here and saw a lot of the universals were causing problems so im tryin to stay away from them.

The Cat on our Blazer went out & I had a muffler shop install a MagnaFlow universal Cat & it has been just great. The tone with that Cat & a turbo style muffler sounds real good I think.

 

Mine rattles like you said but no ses code. I even pulled the heat sheild off and it still annoys the crap out of me.

 

installed the magnaflow cat 2 days ago. So far so good. huge difference from the stock =]

the rattle was cause by my cat being broken up inside.

 

just hollow it out

 

emission laws do not allow this....
