Identifying a spring
My brother found this spring where my car was parked yesterday, and I'm not sure where it came from, it almost looks like its a part of the brakes, maybe?

If anybody can offer me some guidance about it, and if I'm barking up the wrong tree or, I'd appreciate it.

If it was from a drum brake, it wouldn't have just fallen out without the drum being taken off and the shoe assembly falling apart. Those springs hold the shoes in place on the top end and slots in the tensioner hold the other end. A brake spring is more curved on the long end instead of such a pointed hook.

Its been a few years since there's been anything with a carbeurator at our house (that I know of, although I was just home for the weekend). It might not be off my car, it may have just been a coincidence with the timing. I was just wondering fit anyone recognized it. But thanks for the help.
a little long (maybe), but that's my thought as well.
