Default Multiple Brake Lights On

Hi! I’m the new owner! Love it! It’s the LS model, 4 door.

Okie dokie. So, I will attach a photo of the current dashboard situation. I am GUESSING that the parking brake light is on because something is broke (it’s up all the way, but yet when I drive there is a noise and feeling that goes with the speed of the car, kinda like the sound of big off road tires). Is the parking brake kind of engaged but worn down or something? Makes sense to me? Also not sure about ABS but we can get to that later. Or now. Whatever lol.

I got this from my father yesterday and he doesn’t have a clue. So here I am.
Glad to be here!

Maybe a bad front hub is making the noise, and also messing with the wheel speed sensor, which will turn on the light? Jack up the front end and check if your wheel bearings have play in them.

They can. And hub bearings are a fairly common problem on these vehicles, so it's a good thing to check.

With the front of the vehicle supported on jack stands and the tires off the ground, grab the wheel at the top and bottom, and try to rock it. There should be no noticeable play. Then rotate the wheel and listen. It should turn smoothly, with no grinding noises.

well the speedometer is correct. i matched it to GPS on my phone. would that rule out the speed sensor?

No. The speedometer uses the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) in the transmission. The wheel speed sensors are for the ABS system.

I assume you don't have a scanner that will read ABS codes?

The ABS lite on could be the well-known ABS module cracked solder joints issue. Not a difficult fix to do, requires removing the ABS module, carefully slicing through the lid/cover sealant, then re-flowing the solder joints on the connector. This usually fixes this.
Have you checked the brake fluid level?
Get the Blazer into the air, rotate each tire and listen.

How about maintenance and repair histories?

This is a good possibility. But the noise that the OP is hearing made me think wheel bearings. And the bearings are easy to check without taking anything apart, so I suggested to start there.

Low brake fluid wouldn't turn on the ABS light, but it should definitely be checked anyway, like you said.

I said check the brake fluid as the brake light is on along with the ABS; agree that low fluid will not turn the ABS light on.

Needs to get the Blazer in the air, rotate each tire/wheel and listen.

Could be a broken wire on the parking brake. I have not looked at the circuit; I think it is just a wire to ground that turns on the BRAKE light when the parking brake pedal is depressed.
