Thank you for your service! It is greatly appreciated!

"High rider" is another name for the ZR2 (4WD) T10 pickup & T10 Blazer. It uses the same hubs as a regular 4WD, but different from S10 (2WD) pickups & S10 Blazers.

2WD motor mount is not a ROYAL pita.... just a normal pita

No 18mm socket??? That's one of the most popular sizes. Was this some "bargain brand" tool set?

Stay out of the rain and feel better.

Thank you, i enjoy what i do.

that makes much more sence in understanding the difference of high rider.

tool kit was duralast, from autozone. ive never had problems at autozone with anything and they know what truck to look up when i go in there, haha, and they replace anything under warrenty no questions asked. it had a 6 and 12 point 19mm socket then 17mm and down. my fault for assuming 17mm-18mm-19mm next to each other when it was two 19mm's. but that is still crazy.

AZ is holding the correct hub for me right now to pick up after work.

and lucky me my platoon sergeant just walked by and said go home.

You would be surprised how many parts store tool sets don't include all sizes. Seems 16mm and/or 18mm. My 200sumthing craftsman set skipped 18 had 19, 20, then 24 in 1/2 inch drive. In all the years I've owned it I can't tell ya the times I've used a 18 and can't count needing a 24 one time.

And to go on, zr2 was the rpo code for the factory 2 inch raised/wider s-series. Chevy used it for the name (like they did with z28 camaro and z06 vette) but gmc called it highrider. Same truck, different badge, different name, and same parts.

Got the correct hub on, when I'm driving and I press the brake it seems to be making a clicking noice as it slows?

I'm gonna jack the truck up and try to look around.

Any ideas on what it could be or what to look for?

I didn't let the rotor come out of the caliper so I don't think it's coming from there.
