need help missfire

Okay 2001 blazerr 2wd I havee the random multiple missfiree code done plugs cleaned map and throttle, body new ignition coil. New cap and rotor jist got truck 2 months ago. Planed repairs wires pcv i dont think i have a tone of trnny fluid and if I do i think ots dirty and ready for service and air cleaner airfliter. Thos multiple missfire is caused loss of powerr hesition increasing. Fule consumption ever time I fill up.i was told the camshaft position sensor is most likely my problem . And will correct all those problem is this truue what are ur thoughts on thos please help.

Tune up parts are not the place to cut corners to save money. AC Delco plugs #41-993. Cap & rotor need to be AC Delco. Wires need to be good quality, not a cheezy store brand.

Check fuel pressure and leakdown & post the results.

If the camshaft position sensor did not set a DTC, it's fine. Camshaft position sensor will not affect engine performance, save your money. It may need adjustment though. Have a knowledgeable technician check/adjust camshaft retard using a scan tool capable of accessing cam sensor streaming data.
