Default need some insight

hey guys i got a 95 gmc jimmy that has the 4.3l cpi vin w with alternator on drivers side and i was wondering if it possible to replace the a/c bracket with another alternator bracket off a different 4.3 from the junkyard that has the alt bracket on the passenger side ive heard of it being done but not to sure on it. heres a link to where i have gotten the idea from How to install dual alternators - NO fabrication required!!!

but then you wouldnt have air conditioning. i dont know if the trade off is worth it. plus, do you really need another alt? do you plan on putting in a HUGE sound system or what? you might be better off just putting a battery in the back and running a charge wire from your current alternator. just my .02 but we need a little more info. you may not NEED it. let us know what you plan on doing and we can make much better comments on the topic.

im willing to remove my a/c to run a secondary alternator as i plan on doing a big system and i was wanting to run my stock alt for the 12v side and run my aftermarket alt @ 16v for sub amps.
