Default oil cooler lines

just finished replacing oil cooler lines on my 95 4.3, (which was much more difficult than i originally anticipated by the way), when i noticed that one of the rubber sections of the line going from the block to the filter housing was buckled. it looks to be just a tad too long. is this a reason for concern? i would appreciate any suggestions.

By buckled do you mean pinched? Is the flow being limited? Pics would help a bunch.

i guess the best way to explain it is if you were to take a garden hose and bend it into an "L". at the bend it becomes almost flat. i will work on a pic.

The replacement lines I used on my old Bravada did this. I had to finesse the hard lines a bit to make for a smoother radius on the flexible section of the line.

Yea, that buckle is not good. Try pulling on it further down the line so it all stays smooth. If you have to, use zipties.
