No, Hanr3 the oil pressure switch does not kill the fuel pump. What the oil pressure switch does is if the relay stops working when the engine is running the oil pressure switch will keep it going. And from looking at the wiring diagrams the newer Blazers do not even has this feature. It seems to be from about '97 and older have this feature only. I also know these will not shut down due to low/ no oil pressure, because I did 2 Blazer motors last month alone from lack of oil pressure, one snapped the crank, the other just about put a rod out the side. Yikes, That's good information to know Kordog.
My advice to anyone with leaking oil lines is to change them out asap, Don't put them off.Once they decide to pop (anytime), You won't know about it unless you are staring at your oil pressure guageat that exacttime, or your engine starts knocking. Just my two cents........

My dealer "offered" to replace my oil cooler lines for $560.... I think I need to find a new dealer....
