Project RED: 1997 Chevrolet Blazer
Just an update. Did the Valve cover gaskets. That was a PITA in more ways than one. Just getting the covers out was hard. Having to remove the AC And the Alternator to do so... sheesh. So used to working on Inline 4's and 6's, not V configurations.
About a 1/4" thick layer of grime on the passenger valve cover. Probably due to oil leak as suspected. Both old gaskets fell out of the covers as soon as I removed them. New ones are Felpro and are in there good.
Managed to accidentally bend the Cyl5 Injector pins though when putting the spider plug back in. That was annoying as hell to fix, but got it straightened out and squared away. Never pulling that plug again so help me until I replace the Spider Assembly.
