I have looked for hours....... I replaced my fuel sending unit on my 95 jimmy 7 days ago. After I put it all back in and got the fuel tank back up and mounted, I tried to start my truck. And the fuel pump made this weird winding noise. So.... I pulled everything back out, and put on this thing called a pulsator that i took off because it looked like it was pointless on the fuel pump. Then I put everything back up and mounted tank. Then the pump wouldnt engage, so I thought the pump was crap, so I finally put new ac delco in today, and guess what..... It does not engage. It doesnt frikin work.... I checked the relay, and its working.. Is there a fuse for my fuel pump? I really need my truck running, i cant believe its been sitting for 7 days now. Please help.

Realizing that there are probable differences in the fuse set-up between your year and mine, in the underhood fuse box on the driver's wheelwell, the ones labeled 'ECM B' and 'IGN C' are for the fuel pump. If you have an owner's manual for your truck it will show the fuse layouts for it. Have you also verified the fuel pressure with a gauge?

No I havent.... Im just trying to get the fuel pump to actually sing. I know theres no fuel coming because when i take the fuel lines off of the sending unit, they are dry. Im actually thinkin the connector is bad.... But I gotta charge my battery now cuz i killed it during trial and error... Never ends. And There isnt a fuse box under the hood in my truck, unless im stoopid. I stared into my engine bay for 10 minutes trying to find one lol.

Look carefully at the plug that connects to the pump. The connectors have a reputation for coroding and not making contact. They sell a replacement connector with pig tails at the auto store if you need one. If you replace it solder & heat shrink the connections. Do not trust crimp on connectors as they may corode after moisture gets to them.
