Default Roof Rack max weight

What is the max weight that can go in a carrier on the roof rack?

I put the roof rack back on, I had to buy one at the junk yard B/C idiot me back in Nov 09 took it off "B/C I didn't like it" DUH!!!!

And the water weld I put in the holes to seal them so no water got in was a b*tch to get off but I did with alot of patience and still had a bolt left from the old rack to make sure the threads were cleaned.

Picking water weld out of the hold and the top threads was not fun at 2AM....

I believe it is between 200 and 300 pounds, while scouring the local pull and save, there was a 97 or 96 that had a sticker on the rack that said Max load of 200 lbs.

Thats evenly distributed too.....
