Rpm's freaking out? Need help.

Sorry, I meant to say that they'll usually ask if my heat works because stuff like a temperature gauge or something needs to be replaced. Nut it does so they clear it out, then the next week, something else similiar would pop up in codes. It works but it says it's broke.
But that's been coming on after this issue occured.
But that's been coming on after this issue occured.
But there's rules. They have been established for years on many car forums not just this one.. they are pretty universal.
If you have a driveability problem, iow the engine, transmission or whatever is acting up. and there may or may not be more than one thing happening, we have to know EVERYTHING.
The SES lite is on, but you dont know what the codes are or were. Most people would pay enough attention that they would remember something about them.
FIRST RULE - get codes! The ACTUAL codes!!!!
not what the guy who pulled them think they mean.. or you think they mean.. the actual codes.
Go to autozone and get a list of the codes. All of them.
Second rule - supply all the background and other info about stuff happening before at the same time or afterwards as possible.
Even if you dont think it matters.
And that's the gripe about the music being on while you were supplying evidence. The tach reflects engine speed. Engine speed, in the cabin is manifested by SOUND!
And frankly I'm not sure if you would know whether there's any changes in the sound or not.
Otherwise we're just guessing. Because you say it feels like it's trying to shift when it does that but it's not really shifting, I can go out on a limb and say you have an ignition problem. And from the looks of the needle on that video that it's either a bad tach, or ignition fault. Much different. And too expensive to guess at.
The third thing it COULD be is a transmission problem. And that could run into money reall quick if it's not fixed.

anybody help out....arcing ignition wire at the spark plug......changed wire, still arcing???

Then change the plug. Also, a very common cause of this is using anti-seize on the plug threads and accidently getting it on the ceramic.
Third rule: Dont tack on a different problem/symptom onto an existing thread.
Your problem has nothing to do with Dave's\
Reason: for future reference someone having same problem might not be able to find it.
